Following from the success of David Nichol Smith XV, held in December 2014 at the University of Sydney, the Executive Committee of ANZSECS is pleased to announce that it has secured a special issue of Eighteenth-Century Life to publish a collection of essays resulting from papers presented at the conference.
We now invite expressions of interest from prospective authors who would like to have their work considered for inclusion in this special issue. Expressions of interest packets should be submitted to the editors in the form of a cover note including contact details and institutional affiliation of the author, a 250-word abstract detailing the expanded argument of the proposed essay, and a copy of the paper originally presented at DNS XV.
Upon selection, authors will be asked to develop their papers into publishable essays (between 5000-6000 words, including notes). Our anticipated deadline for these submissions is 1 June 2015. These essays will be subject to a standard peer review process, including potential revisions, prior to publication in 2016.
Please send your expression of interest packet (cover note, 250-word abstract, and original paper in PDF, RTF or Word format as an attachment) to the special issue editors, Nicola Parsons and Jennifer Milam, via the conference email address (email@example.com). Deadline: 31 March 2015.
We look forward to receiving your submissions.
With kind regards,
Nicola Parsons and Jennifer Milam
